    Create your shipment online

    Enter the weight, dimensions, and recipient's addresson our website securely(opens in a new tab). In just a few clicks, your label is ready.Super easy!

  • 2.

    Prepare your package

    Choose the right-sized packaging, protect the contents, and note the shipment ID or print and stick the label on the package.

  • 3.

    Drop it off at a Locker or Drop-Off Point

    Check on our App or website for the nearest drop-off point(opens in a new tab), its address, and opening hours. Follow the instructions based on the type of point you choose.

  • 4.

    Your package is on its way

    You'll receive a notification by email or SMS when your shipment is picked up by the recipient. Domestic deliveries in 48–72h.

    Choose the right box

    Use a sturdy cardboard box as close as possible to the size of the product. The more fragile the item, the stronger the packaging should be.

    Weigh your package

    If sending under 5 kg, use a kitchen scale. For larger packages, weigh yourself with and without it, and calculate the difference.

    Use bubble wrap or newspaper to fill empty spaces. If sending multiple items, protect each one separately before placing them together.

  • What is the maximum package size a Locker or Drop-Off Point accepts?

    In Lockers, packages cannot exceed 60x40x30 cm or 25 kg. At Drop-Off Points, you can drop off packages up to 120 cm on the longest side and 30 kg. If your package exceeds these dimensions, it won't be accepted in the InPost network.

  • Can I send my package without printing a label?

    Yes. InPost allows you to send using a QR code you’ll receive by email after completing payment. Just show it on your phone screen when you arrive at the Locker or Drop-Off Point. No printer, no paper.

  • Can I send fragile items?

    Yes, as long as the packaging is appropriate. Protect each piece separately with bubble wrap, fill empty spaces so nothing moves inside the box, and mark it as 'fragile' on the outside. Remember, all shipments include a basic €25 insurance.

  • How long does it take for my shipment to arrive in Portugal?

    The usual delivery time for domestic shipments is 48 to 72 hours from the time the package is picked up at the origin point.

  • What happens if the recipient doesn’t pick up the package?

    For domestic shipments, the recipient has 5 business days to pick up the package after receiving the notification. If they don’t collect it within this time, the package is automatically returned to the sender.

  • Can I insure my shipment?

    All shipments include a basic €25 insurance (VAT and shipping included) in case of loss or damage. If the content value is higher, you can purchase additional insurance tailored to your needs. Remember, it’s 1 insurance per package.

  • Can I send to other European countries?

    Yes. InPost operates in 9 European countries with over 100,000 Drop-Off Points and Lockers. You can send to France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Poland, and Luxembourg directly through our website.
