The abrupt rise in the popularity of e-commerce, which has been observed for some years now, is transforming the business world. Alongside the new challenges that arise (for example, at an environmental level, due to the pollution generated by deliveries), new opportunities are also emerging.
The non-home delivery model – which InPost represents – is a response to this reality. It consists of delivering the order to a point located in a convenient place, close to the customer's home. Compared with direct home deliveries, this strategy makes it possible to greatly reduce the car traffic generated, as well as the complications that often arise at the final stage of the logistics process.
We have one of the largest networks of this kind in the world, with more than 1,000 Pack Points in Portugal, and more than 50,000 in Europe. The non-home delivery strategy allows us to combine environmental concerns with greater final customer satisfaction and convenience. It also makes it possible to build mutually beneficial commercial ties between companies.
Would you like to know how you can be part of this concept and how you can benefit from this link? Let us explain everything.
It is a collaboration between your establishment or small or medium-sized business (for example, if you have a florist shop, kiosk, stationery store, etc.), and InPost. It is at your establishment that an order intended for a private customer is stored (for a period of up to 8 days) until it is picked up, and where the customer can also leave an order to be later collected by our services. This is a very common situation when there is, for example, a product return.
Most of our shipments are not between private individuals, but involve one of the brands that work with us, such as Vinted. Since returns are frequent in online clothing retail, it is an important added value that the InPost model makes it easy to do so.
All this involves a degree of responsibility on your part – for example, you have to provide the space where the order will be stored. In practice, experience has shown that the extra effort for the establishment is worth it: the resulting increase in turnover can be up to 20%.
The benefit at the heart of it, from your shop's point of view, is to increase the number of people who know it and visit it. Anyone who is left with a good impression or becomes interested in your products or services can become a customer. On the other hand, those who are already customers will have a reason to come by more often and make more purchases. The simple logic of saving trips often leads people to make more purchases in the shop. In short, more people in the shop means more sales.
There is also a monetary compensation that we provide for participating in our network and for the service provided.
There is a monetary compensation for each order that enters our network from a Pack Point. However, it is difficult to give a concrete amount, since this differs in each case, being calculated based on the number of orders received and their size and weight, as well as the area in which the establishment is located. A larger number of orders, larger orders, and a busier area are equivalent to greater compensation.
The process is very simple and consists of the three steps listed below:
1. Fill in the form available on our website.
2. After analyzing your details, we will contact you by email.
3. Finally, you will receive your Pack Point number and your welcome kit.
Take the first step today to become part of the most extensive Pack Point network in Europe. Your establishment will benefit, attract new customers, and also receive monetary compensation for its role.
InPost represents a parcel transport strategy that will continue to grow and that, we believe, will become the model of the future. We count on you by our side.
